RALEIGH, NC (October 12, 2017) – Downtown Raleigh retailers have collaborated to create a one-night-only shopping event this month. Over 20 independently-owned shops will extend their hours on Thursday, October 19 from 6 pm – 9 pm for Sip N Shop. During the extended hours, participating retailers will offer drinks, snacks, and some will even offer chances to win prizes through raffles and drawings.

The Downtown Raleigh Alliance (DRA), in keeping with its mission to recruit and retain local businesses, is excited to promote this event to encourage patrons to keep their dollars in the local economy.

“Downtown is such a fun place to shop for unique ‘giftable’ items. We have great apparel and accessory stores, beautiful home furnishing options, wine and spirts, and more,” says DRA Marketing Director Stacey Simeone. “We are a great place to find quality gift items for your entire shopping list.”

Sip N Shop participants include: The Art of Style, Artspace, Briggs Hardware, Deco Home, Deco Raleigh, Finds, The Flourish Market, Gypsy Jule, House of Landor, Katie Callahan & Co., Lumina Clothing, Marbles Corner Store, Moon and Lola, North Street Beer Station, Port of Raleigh, Quercus Studio, Raleigh Provisions, Raleigh Slabs, The Raleigh Wine Shop, Read with Me, Retro Modern Furnishings, Runologie, Voda Boutique, and Wylde Flowers.
